Job Description / Duties
• Quote and sell new business through digital leads, inbound calls, and outbound call initiatives.
• Follow up on daily ex-dates, prospective clients and all quotes not bound.
• Actively participate in training initiatives and professional development required of the position.
Qualifications / Required Skills
The ideal candidate will be a sales professional, with experience in inbound and outbound sales. The ideal candidate must have/be:
• a level II General Insurance Brokers' License, CIP or CAIB designation;
• strong prospecting skills;
• above average communication skills, with strong networking capabilities;
• the ability to develop new business through active prospecting referrals, leads and personal initiatives;
• excellent time management, communication, customer service and relationship building skills;
• experience with the Microsoft office suite; previous broker management system experience is an asset.
