Job Description / Duties

This position is available immediately and includes both individual and team work.
Interacting and helping our clients by phone, email, written correspondence and in person.
Quoting, Writing, Managing and reviewing New Personal Insurance Policies and Renewals.
Servicing and Expanding an assigned group of clients.
Arranging Payment Plans and Processing payments. Reporting and following up on Claims when required.
Participating in training
Keeping up to date with Underwriting Rules and Workflow Procedures.
Other duties necessary to manage personal accounts.

Qualifications / Required Skills

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, reliable, dependable, personable, focused on the needs of our clients, punctual, organized and a team player.
The successful Candidate must have at least three years experience working in the Insurance Industry preferably in a Brokers Office and hold at least a Level 1 Brokers License or higher.
Achieved or working towards a CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) or CIP ( Chartered Insurance Professional) designation is an asset.
Experience and comfortable working with The Agency Manager (TAM) Broker Management System, Microsoft Office, Outlook and other Electronic office tools.
Post Secondary education is an asset however not mandatory
