Job Description / Duties

Provide Exceptional Customer Service for our valued Personal Lines Clients. Responsible for Retention and Account Development. Handling a book of business (Alpha Split). Conducting needs assessment, Recommend Solutions. Responsible for day to day requests from our clients. Quoting and placing New Business, Renewals, Endorsements, Cancellations, Processing Payments ; Reporting Claims and working within Insurance Company Broker Portals. Data entry and thorough detailed record keeping within our Broker Management system.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The successful candidate must possess Excellent Communication Skills, be a people oriented individual and team player. Keep current on Underwriting Rules and Workflow Processes.

Hold at least a Level I Nova Scotia Insurance Brokers License and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Progression towards completion of the CAIB designation and /or CIP designation is an asset.
