Job Description / Duties

Archway Insurance is seeking an experienced Supervisor/Account Manager for their Personal Lines service team in Halifax. To succeed in this position, you must genuinely enjoy motivating and working with people. You are a self-starter that works well on your own, while contributing to a positive team environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Coaching, mentoring and developing a team of licensed brokers with various levels of experience
• Managing a small book of personal lines accounts including the application of policy changes, additions, claims management, and new business cross selling
• Promoting sales and client retention through regular personal contact, claims counseling and superior service

Qualifications / Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years previous experience as a broker in personal lines insurance
• Preference given to candidates with previous management or supervisory experience and/or CAIB, CPIB or CIP designations
• A level III NS General Insurance license is required
• Proven commitment to providing superior customer service satisfaction
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
